Location
Laguna Whitsundays Resort, formally
known as Laguna Quays, is located on
the Whitsunday coast 25 km south of
Proserpine and 100 km north of
Mackay, in tropical north
Queensland. Built on 8000 acres,
Laguna Whitsundays Resort is a
unique destination of sub-tropical
bushland, coastal lagoons and
patches of rainforest on the slopes
of the Whitsunday Ranges. It has
four kilometres of frontage onto the
Coral Sea, with views out to the
Whitsunday islands.
Accommodation
The resort offers guests
accommodation in a selection of 1, 2
or 3 bedroom self-contained
serviced villas lining the fairways
of the 18 hole championship Turtle
Point Golf Course.
Resort Recreation & Facilities
Other resort facilities include a
private beach club, with non tidal
lagoon and non motorised water
sports.
In addition to golf Laguna
Whitsundays also offers an extensive
choice of complimentary activities
for in house guests including a 40
metre swimming pool with swim up
bar, 3 tennis courts, archery, bike
riding & croquet. At the Beach Club
guests can also experience a wide
variety of non motorised water
sports at the 15 hectare non-tidal
enclosed lagoon – the perfect place
to master catamarans, sailboards &
canoes.

The Whitsunday Conference Room is
ideal for up to 80 delegates,
conference facilities offer natural
light and open onto a terrace ideal
for morning and afternoon teas, set
amongst natural bushland.
Team Building
Throughout the hectares of untouched
Australian bush, the resort tailors
packages for team building. These
activities include golf tournaments
on Australia’s Best Resort Course,
Beach Club Olympics, canoe racing in
the protected lagoon, beach
volleyball, buggy rallies, laser
skirmish, quad bikes, ocean sailing
and diving.
Themed Events
The resorts varied natural settings
give freedom to theming options at
Laguna. Themes are limited only by
the imagination.
Turtle Point at Laguna
The magnificent Turtle Point
championship golf course, which is renowned
for it’s lush Bermuda grass fairways
and manicured greens was designed in harmony
with its natural surroundings. It is
set amidst native bushland bordering
the Coral Sea, bursting with
flowers, birds and native animals.
The Turtle Point course also has a
unique mixture of diverse and
challenging holes. Some wind though
thick bushland, others combine
landscaped lakes and water courses
with rainforest backdrops, while
three holes edge the coastline
overlooking the Whitsunday Islands.
Golf Developments
A second 18-hole championship golf
course, Jagabara, is also currently
being designed for Laguna
Whitsundays by champion Australian
golfer and local North Queensland
girl, Karrie Webb. Located in the
bushland and rainforest surrounds of
the Whitsunday ranges adjacent to
Turtle Point course.
Access to the Resort
Access to Laguna Whitsundays Resort
is currently via Proserpine Airport,
and is approximately 20 minutes by
car from the Resort (30 km to the
north). Mackay Airport is
approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from
Laguna Whitsundays Resort.
