Promenade Lounge Bar offers

Meetings, Events & Convention
The Esplanade Hotel Fremantle's new
Convention Centre opening in
September 2003, will provide 1,300
m2 of convention floor space.
Inclusive, the 800 m2 pillar less
Gala Ballroom, with its 6 m high
ceilings and luxurious fit out,
offers state of the art audio
visual, communication and projection
facilities and will accommodate
1,000 delegates theatre style or 600
persons for a sit down banquet. The
associated pre function area will
incorporate three meeting rooms with
pool views. Ground floor service
entries make the centre ideal for
large Trade Exhibitions and product
launches including vehicle launches.
The new convention centre will be
Perth's third largest featuring 9
meeting rooms positioning the
Esplanade Hotel Fremantle as Perth's
largest four star hotel. The centre
will be the City's premier focus for
major local, national, and
international conferences.
The adjoining new 450 bay, multi
storey car park, that will open mid
June 2003, will offer convenient
parking for local attendees.
Banquet Rooms & Facilities
The new facilities feature four main
venues comprising twelve separate
rooms.
The Southern
Cross Gala Ballroom
The Southern Cross Gala Ballroom is
an impressive 800 sqm pillarless
venue with a 6m high ceiling.
Superbly appointed it features the
latest in specially selected
furnishings. Themed events will
become a speciality seating up to
600 guests for a sit down dinner or
1,000 delegates theatre style for a
conference.
The Orion
Room, Pleiades Room and Sirius Room
combine to create the Southern Cross
Gala Ballroom. Located on the ground
floor in the Southern Cross wing
each venue has convenient access to
the Promenade Lounge Bar, Atrium
Garden Restaurant and to the 1st
floor Island Suite via a new central
staircase.
The Indian
Ocean Suite
The Indian Ocean Suite is stunning
and overlooks the Atrium Pool on the
ground floor. It comprises the
Prince Regent Room, King Sound Room
and Admiralty Gulf Room.
The Island
Suite
This heritage listed 1897 building
offers sweeping balconies
overlooking the Esplanade parkland
and is located on the first floor of
the Hotel. It comprises the Rottnest
Room, Garden Room and Carnac Room
and has the flexibility to cater
from 10 to 350 guests. The adjacent
Abrolhos Room is ideal for
registration, catering or pre dinner
drinks.
The Esplanade
Manor
Originally the Trades Hall Building
this magnificent 1904 venue is
elegant and classical in style with
high ceilings and decorative
cornices. The Esplanade Manor
Ballroom located on the 1st floor
accommodates 120 guests for a sit
down dinner or 150 theatre style.
The Esplanade Manor Boardroom and
the Collie Room located on the
ground floor are perfect for pre
dinner drinks or perhaps that
important board meeting.

The Hotel is proud to be associated
with Gearhouse Perth, a major
supplier of audio-visual equipment,
staging facilities, set design and
event theming. Located on site,
