Crowne Plaza Alice Springs

Crowne Plaza Alice Springs is a deluxe hotel committed to advancement in sustainability. The Crowne Plaza hotel has won accolades in part due to installing the largest rooftop mounted solar array in the Southern Hemisphere. This installation of 1,326 roof top solar panels generates 1,500 kilowatts of power each day which is the equivalent of powering 60 homes per year. It will reduce the Alice Springs based hotels carbon footprint by 420 tonnes of CO2 per year.

All 236 air conditioned guest rooms feature balconies that either overlook the MacDonnell Ranges or the hotels heated swimming pool. Other facilities include a gymnasium, spa and sauna, swimming pool – heated for those cool desert winters – and two tennis courts.
