Wrest Point is located right on the banks of the Derwent River in Hobart’s yacht precinct of Sandy Bay, only 2.5km from the city centre. The sparkling water views that surround the hotel offer the perfect sanctuary for delegates to relax after their day. Wrest Point’s tower rooms enjoy sweeping views of the Derwent River, scenic Hobart or the beautiful Mt Wellington. Wrest Point’s convention centre can accommodate anything from a gala awards dinner to a formal board meeting, catering for between ten and 1600 delegates. With easy access via a dedicated walkway, the centre provides a selection of 15 fully-equipped meeting rooms, including an auditorium, boardrooms and exhibition venues.
